This partnership project has the vision to ignite volunteers’ passion for health promotion and build their leadership capacity to work towards improving immigrants’ health.

Ignite Leadership for Immigrants' Health is a partnership project with the vision to bring volunteers together from diverse ethnic background through a series of volunteer training delivered in various languages. The project will build a greater understanding of immigrants’ health among the project participants as well as building volunteers leaders and training models & resources for the non-profit sector.

Objectives:

• To establish a collaborative mechanism of volunteer leadership development for all partnering and supporting organizations;


• To build volunteer leadership capacity in the non-profit sector for improving immigrants’ health outcome;


• To develop resources and tools to be used for volunteer leadership development such as online resources, educational materials, and training curriculum;


• To build best practices of leadership training model for non-profit sector to address immigrants’ health issues.
